Jim Jack Services & Distribution was formed in January 1993 and occupies 4500 square foot industrial unit in Tannoch Place, Lenziemill Ind. Estate, Cumbernauld.
The Proprietor, Jim Jack, was previously in charge of distribution for Ferodo Ltd., a subsidiary of Turner & Newal PLC. When Ferodo decided to centralise its operations in Milton Keynes and Manchester, Jim formed his own company and took over the distribution and relining functions as a subcontractor to Ferodo.
In addition to the relining and distribution functions, a battery distribution service has been incorporated into the business, as a sub-contract operation with Deta Batteries of Trafford Park, Manchester.
Jim Jack undertakes all types of riveting, bonding and supply of roll and sheet materials, facings and other types of industrial friction products. The distribution of braking products is efficiently combined with the distribution of the Deta Batteries.
A Sales Office also operates from the Lenziemill facility which is manned by experienced and friendly ex-Ferodo staff who can ensure a knowledgeable and rapid response service throughout the UK.
Although Jim Jack Services is a young company its pedigree is long, dating back to Herbert Frood's original invention for a cloth and resin based friction material.
The business is strategically focused in the industrial friction products market. The company has a reputation that has been built on the performance, quality and range of its products.
