Jim Jack Services Ltd specialises in brake & clutch reline. We also refurbish industrial brake assemblies for overhead cranes, brickworks, paper mills, marine clutches, Airflex brake & clutch assemblies. We, in addition, reline brake shoes, brake bands & clutches for any type of application.

Jim Jack Services Ltd supply tailored solutions for any brake & clutch requirement. We can reline performance car paddle clutches & performance car organic clutches, Mini Moto brake shoes using either organic friction materials or Kevlar friction materials. As well as Go-Kart racing Clutches & can supply Go-Kart brake pads

Jim Jack Services Ltd was originally formed in 1993 as Jim Jack Services & Distribution when Ferodo decided to close their Cumbernauld branch. Jim Jack, who was the manager of Ferodo in Scotland, decided to open a smaller facility at Tannoch Place in Cumbernauld, & utilising his Ex Ferodo staff & workshop machinery kept an Industrial Brake Relining facility open in Scotland. We have been relining brakes & clutches for customers based all over the UK ever since.

Being a small family like business, each member of staff are involved in some way in every brake reline or clutch reline we carry out. When we are busy with large brake band reline jobs, all the staff put on their overalls & help out, we still manage to keep our smaller jobs going through the workshop at the same turnover rate. This usually involves starting early & finishing late, but this is a conscious effort on the part of the staff to treat all our customers with the same level of professionalism & provide an excellent brake & clutch relining service.

Our 24/7 emergency on call service isn't used too often, but when it is we respond to the customers' needs.

Jim Jack started with Belaco in 1973 in Cumbernauld as depot manager, Belaco then merged with Ferodo and Jim moved into larger premises in Cumbernauld as Depot Manager for Ferodo / Belaco. James started with Ferodo in 1989 & has worked at Jim Jack Services since. Starting in the stores and workshop with Ferodo, working in the workshop & then moving into sales with Jim Jack Services and now manages the business as Jim semi-retired in 2008. Paul joined Ferodo in 1988, left when Ferodo shut in 1992. Paul then returned to Jim Jack Services in 2001 to work in the workshop, and now he is our workshop manager. Mark started with Ferodo in 1990 and has had 2 spells of employment with Jim Jack Services, covering 10 years. He covers all aspects of the business from working in the workshop to deliveries to helping in the office.
