Moulded and Woven Roll Materials

We use materials that offer world class performance. Produced in thicknesses of up to 25mm our woven roll can be supplied in various widths,, or even as linings cut from our 330mm stock width. Woven roll is used where arduous conditions apply, such as marine winches, cranes and military vehicles where high sheer strengths, riveting capacity and toughness are necessary.

Semi-Flexible Moulded Roll

In recent years the demand for full width and slit, semi-flexible moulded roll in widths up to 330mm has grown, as end users have recognised its advantages for both automotive and industrial end applications. The advantage is that the material can be readily bonded and during the curing cycle with thermo-setting adhesives semi-flexible moulded roll is simultaneously converted into a rigid product.

Moulded and Woven Flat Sheets

Moulded sheets - large sheets up to 750mm x 750mm of cured compositions can now be supplied in thicknesses ranging up to 64mm. At the thicker end (i.e. 52mm to 64mm) the sheet dimensions are normally 559mm x 559mm. Certain semi-cured products can be cut, formed and cured into a variety of heavy duty linings for off highway, excavator and industrial crane applications. Fully cured sheets are frequently used by specialists as stock to produce many varied flat friction components such as discs, segments and blocks.
